Teacher Carollyne taught me singing more than 20 years ago and we have became good friends. What I admire most about her is not just her talent and experience, but her beautiful character. She is genuine, warm, humble and approachable. Despite her many achievements, she treats everyone with respect, kindness and sincerity.

Carollyne is passionate and very experienced in teaching. She is generous in sharing her knowledge and always willing to teach more to enable us to improve on our techniques. I learnt so much from her in Mandarin and Hokkien songs.

Joining Teacher Carollyne's group singing class at Goalden Academy was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I enjoyed the learning experience so much that I decided to continue with individual vocal lessons under her guidance.

What I appreciate most about her is her patience, professionalism, and genuine passion for teaching. She takes the time to help me understand my voice, develop proper singing techniques, and express the emotions behind every song. Her encouragement and guidance have greatly improved my vocal abilities and boosted my confidence.

I never imagined that I could improve so much in just six months! One of the highlights of my journey was being invited to perform at her Students' Concert. Teacher Carollyne went above and beyond to give her students the valuable experience of performing live on stage. She generously dedicated extra time and effort to coaching, rehearsals, and preparing us for the concert. Her kindness, commitment, and dedication truly touched me.

Inspired by her teaching, I decided to take my passion one step further by enrolling in the Vocal Teacher's Training Course with Teacher Carollyne and aspiring to become a vocal teacher myself.

I started attending Teacher Carollyne Tong's small group singing classes in 2024, and it has been an incredibly rewarding and worthwhile learning experience!

She is patient, sincere and a dedicated vocal coach. Not only does she possess extensive singing experience and knowledge, but she also generously shares her valuable techniques, insights and expertise with her students.

What I particularly appreciate is her well-structured, progressive and systematic teaching approach. Every lesson brings new knowledge and practical techniques, many of which I had never learned before. I have benefited tremendously from her guidance. Her teaching style is lively, engaging and easy to understand, making every lesson enjoyable and never boring. Her classes are filled with laughter, encouragement and meaningful learning experiences. I always leave feeling fulfilled and inspired.

I am truly grateful to have met such a responsible, caring and dedicated teacher who genuinely puts her students' interests at heart. I deeply treasure this special teacher-student relationship. I continued my singing journey with Teacher Carollyne, learning more valuable vocal techniques and improving my singing abilities.

After attending her lessons, I finally learned how to sing Hokkien songs, especially "痴情歌" (Chi Qing Ge), a song I really love! She is exceptionally good in teaching the Taiwanese pronunciation and singing style. She is extremely patient, teaching me the pronunciation word by word. I strongly recommend anyone who loves Hokkien-Taiwanese (Min Nan Yu) songs to learn from her.
